Programme:

Leeds defender Josh Vermooten was adjudged to have fouled Kirk Jackson in the box and this allowed Danny Holland to open the scoring for Harrogate in the sixth minute. Mark Wilberforce actualy saved the penalty but could not retain the ball and Holland was able to save his embarassment by netting the rebound. Then Kirk Jackson doubled the home team's lead in the twentieth minute and that remained the score up to the half-time break. Leeds hit back in the second half as Jonathan Howson and Sam Hird scored in the fifty-second and fifty-fourth minutes to draw level. Leeds sent on their substitutes with Jonathan Lund taking over from Mark Wilberforce in goal and Scott Gardner, David Brown and Tomi Ameobi also taking the field while Colin Hunter replaced Kirk Jackson for the home team and James McGarry came on for Darren Dunning, leaving Richard Carrick, Dave Thomas and goalkeeper Martyn Wood unused on the bench. It looked as though James McGarry had won the game for the home side when he netted five minutes from time, but Robert Bayly squared the game for Leeds with a goal in the final minute, with a shot from twenty-five yards.
